Ìgbàlódé is Yoruba for “modern times”. The evening brought four strands together: a heritage parade that carried traditional dress, music and cultural presentation through the space as a living procession rather than a display; live cultural performances; a showcase of fashion and adornment that set traditional forms beside contemporary styling; and an exhibition of the material culture the parade carried.
Farida conceived and produced Igbalode as one connected programme, so that the parade, the performances, the fashion and the exhibition each told part of the same story and audiences moved from watching heritage to being among it.

Led by Creative Director Farida Atanda, Red Cap Entertainment delivered comprehensive artistic vision, live show-calling, technical systems integration, and strict protocol governance from concept through on-site execution.
