Live Cultural Event Producer & Creative Director
Farida Atanda is a UK-based live cultural event producer and creative director whose practice explores African heritage through multidisciplinary cultural production. Working across live performance, exhibitions, ceremonial traditions and participatory programming, she develops projects that bring traditional cultural practices into contemporary public contexts.
Clear answers on our four core disciplines, festival curation, gallery exhibitions, ceremonial protocol, and international operations.
We operate across four core disciplines: Live Cultural Production, Festivals & Public Programmes, Exhibitions & Curatorial Projects, and Ceremonial & Cultural Showcases. Founded by Creative Director Farida Atanda, we translate African cultural heritage into contemporary live settings across the UK and internationally with full in-house production accountability.
From multi-day celebrations like the Festival of Unity and Hubert Ogunde Opera & Folk Festival to heritage symposia like the Adinkra Symbols Symposium, we coordinate performer and artisan curation, marketplace vendor operations, site design, crowd navigation, and cultural protocol so the entire event delivers one cohesive story.
For exhibitions such as Beyond the Bronze: Modern Benin Art Exhibition, we manage complete curatorial direction, gallery scenography, fine art display lighting, and institutional liaison — ensuring historical artifacts and contemporary African art are exhibited with institutional precision.
We are UK-based with nationwide delivery across London, Sheffield, Manchester, and Birmingham, alongside international productions in Lagos, Kaduna, and Benin City. To commission a brief, submit our online contact form or reach our production desk directly; our curatorial team responds within 24 hours.
